DAY 1
Gorilla safari in Uganda starts with a panoramic drive across the renowned Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town northwest, stop for lunch at Masindi hotel. Go to Murchison through the Budongo Forest, the East African Rift Valley’s Western Arm and the Albert Lake.
Relax at the site above the dramatic drop where you can see the perfect beauty of the Nile and marvel at how it compresses and squeezes through a 7-meter canyon from over 1 kilometer wide.
The 150-meter drop of the falls creates a thunderous roar and a beautiful rainbow in a plume of spray – the best thing to ever happen to the Nile. Finally, you can enjoy the sunset as you return to the superb comfort and service of;

DAY 2:
After a cup of tea, start an early morning game drive on the northern bank where your guide will assist you to spot elephants, lions, cape buffalo, rothchild giraffes, hartebeests, waterbucks, oribi, bushbucks, bohor reed bucks, hyenas, and if you’re fortunate, leopards.
Return to the lodge for breakfast. Relax at the swimming pool side. After lunch, you will safari upstream by boat to the calm Victoria Nile and the base of the falls just tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron.” You can marvel at toothy hippos, crocodiles and you can also see elephants, waterbucks and Uganda kobs over the 17-kilometer stretch.
This is also the habitat of many bird species including goliath herons, Egyptian geese, pelican bee-eaters, kingfishers, Hornbills, cormorants and the rare shoebill stork. After taking shots of the photogenic Murchison Falls you will return for dinner and an overnight stay at;

DAY 3:
We make sure you take your packed breakfast and lunch trip through the Western Rift Valley’s Alberta Escarpment on the Masindi-Hoima-Fort gateway. This will be a day-long drive south through Hoima to Fort Portal, through green landscape and traditional homes and farms.
Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the Fabled “Mountains of the Moon”. Dinner and overnight at Luxury -Ndali safariLodge or mid range -Rwenzori View Guest House in Fort portal or Basic -kanyaankyu ecological site preferably in a Sky Tree House.
DAY 4:
We will drive to Kibale Forest N / P for primate viewing after Break quickly. The activity begins at 8 a.m. That morning. An half day search for chimpanzees and other primates including phoestes, Red-Colobus, Blues, Red-tailed and grey cheeked Mangabeys swinging through the dense forest and birds, butterflies and many small insects.
The guide will provide comprehensive explanations not only on primates, but also on the fauna and flora of the entire forest, ensuring that your walk is both informative and pleasant. This walk is great for bird and primate viewing in close proximity.
A visit to Bigodi swamp eco tourism site is amazing, as we shall encounter rare and beautiful flora and fauna. DAY 5:
Follow the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Range most of the trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park after the early break. A game drive En route may be rewarded with view of waterbucks, Elephants, Leopards, Buffaloes, Hyenas and a variety of Antelope species.
Arrive early at Mweya Safari Lodge for a meal. Enjoy the distinctive 2-hour cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward after dinner. This journey may go through the largest concentration of Hippos and many animals can be seen sleeping at the bottom of the water.
This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species. Dinner and overnight at Luxury –Mweya Uganda Safari Lodge/Jacana safari lodge,Hippo camp or Basic -Institute of Ecology.
DAY 6:
After a cup of coffee, a packed breakfast drive to Kyambura gorge for a stroll through the forest to look for the usual chimpanzees and other primates. Wait for the hyena, giant hog forest, and lion as well. If you need one, the rangers will give you a walking stick.
After trekking, drive back to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, go Sight seeing around the creator lakes region set deep into the volcanic creators and Baboon cliff is a wonderful memorable experience.
Visit Lake Katwe to learn about local salt mining techniques as well. Evening game drive back to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Luxury -Mweya safari Lodge/Jacana safari lodge,Hippo camp or Basic -Institute of Ecology.
DAY 7:
After a cup of coffee embark on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi track and Queens mile in the park and expect to see Lions, Elephants, cape buffalo, Warthogs, leopard, hyena, mangoose, waterbucks, Kobs, and lots many small animals and birds.
Following the game drive, go to Bwindi via the sector of Maramagambo and Ishasha. As you drive along the highway through the Ishasha sector, on the highway you can see wildlife such as waterbucks, elephants, antelopes, buffalo, Kobs.
Relax around the homestead and sight seeing to visit the local community-Batwa and enjoy the local traditional dance. Dinner and overnight at Lake Kitandara tented Camp or basic at Buhoma community bandas.
DAY 8:
The entrance to a gorilla sanctuary is early in the morning. The rainforest is spectacular because it provides a dramatic, heavily forested and dense landscape crossed by countless animal paths that allow tourists access.
Recorded mammals here include the endangered mountain gorilla, the rare golden monkey, buffalo, elephants, black-fronted duikers, bushbucks, leopards, giant forest hogs as well as other animals. This park is best known for its intriguing gorillas, where time and terrain vary depending on the movements of these wonderful primates.
The thrill of spending time with and observing the gorillas is a rare, moving, awesome and exciting adventure. The gorillas are shy and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact with each other. DAY 9:
Take breakfast before heading to Rwanda for a picturesque trip through the lovely scenery of the rolling mountains with terraced landscape.
Drive through the winding road and terraced landscape and reach Kisoro for dinner, and then drive to the boundary between Uganda and Rwanda and cross Rwanda. Dinner and overnight at High End Gorilla nest camp / Kinigi Guest House.
DAY 10:
Wake up in the morning very soon. You’ll be briefed soon before the gorilla trek begins at 9 a.m. After tracking, drive to kabale for your dinner and over night.
DAY 11:
You will drive to Lake Mburo National Park Lunch after an early breakfast and enter the park through the Nshara Gate. Candlelit dinner and first class service at the Mantana Tented Camp all under canvas and in the heart of the African Bush underneath the starlit African sky/ drie to mbarara for Agip Motel , or basic at Rwonyo rest camp.
DAY 12:
The morning game drive will bring you along the lakeshore path, and the “Kigambara Loop” provides exciting guided lakeside walks with its own scheme of game paths and cleared walks. Here you can find herds of zebra, cape buffalo and eland, and Pribi and topi are easy to approach.
In addition to the game drive, many tourists also enjoy a boat journey on Lake Mburo and nature trails on their own. Bird watches will enjoy more than 250 species of birds found in Lake Mburo including Papyrus Gonoleks, Brown-faced Lapwings, Carruther’s Cisticolas, the extraordinary White winged Warbler and Bare-Faced Go-away bird.
Then drive back to Kampala after dinner and stop at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers. Here you can watch the ceremonial drums being made using generations of techniques. There will also be time to stop at the equator for photographs and you will arrive in Kampala by early evening. Dinner and over night at Hotel Africana /Speke Hotel in Kampala.
DAY 13: End of Gorilla Safari in Uganda
After a quick break, drive to Jinja where River Nile begins its Mediterranean Sea voyage. You could appreciate the fall of Bujagali. After early lunch, be transferred to Entebbe airport for your flight, and that is the end of your gorilla safari in Uganda
